Day 9
September 9
“God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them.”
2 Corinthians 5:19
Several years ago, before I met Jesus, I lived a life of self-destruction. I was enslaved to sin, particularly porn and masturbation. I never knew I was destroying myself and my future. I didn’t know what I was doing. I was constantly giving myself to sinful pleasure. My mind was filled with dirty thoughts. At a point, I just couldn’t get them away. They were like thick clouds upon my head.
My situation was getting worse. I would now lust over any woman I saw.
But Jesus saved me.
While I was going down the drain, He reached out to me and pulled me out of my mess.
One particular day, two people came sharing the gospel with me at my home. That was the beginning of my salvation and transformation. I believed it was God who sent those two people to me.
Second Corinthians 5:19 says, “God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them.”
God was not counting my sins against me, even though I was sinning against Him. Instead, He was focused on bringing me back to Himself. Just as God was in Christ then, reconciling the world to Himself, God was in those two people, trying to bring me back to Himself.
And now, God is trying to get your attention and get you back to Him through this message. It’s all God at work through it all because He loves us, and that was why He sent Jesus to die for us, to save us from sin and give us eternal life, according to John 3:16.
And now, He is extending this salvation to you, just as He did to me, and it is totally free of charge.
Would you accept Jesus today? You don’t have to linger any further because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. Now is the best time.
Would you pray this prayer if you are ready to accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior?
“Lord Jesus, please come into my life. I accept that I am a sinner, and I need Your help. Please wash away my sin with Your precious blood and give me Your eternal life. I confess that You are my Lord and personal Savior. Thank You, Jesus, because I am now born again. Glory to God.”
What have you called pleasure that has slowly begun to control you?
Is there something you once believed you could stop whenever you wanted, but now recognize has a hold on you?
And what if this message reaching you today is not an accident?
How will you respond today?
Your response joins a global movement.
